Biography :
I’m a 32-year-old Texan and fitness is my life. Being fit and living a healthy lifestyle is what I know and what I love. I’m an athlete in every sense of the word. I’m a certified personal trainer, NPC bikini competitor, fashion/fitness model and sponsored athlete. To say that the gym is my favorite pastime would be an understatement!
Over the past four years, I’ve taken my love of fitness to a new level and made it my way of life. In 2010, I decided to turn my passion into my career. Being healthy and in good shape just wasn’t enough anymore. My desire to motivate and inspire others became stronger and I knew I had to do something with it. I’ve worked hard and it’s all beginning to pay off, as I have become affiliated with some of the best athletes, photographers, and fitness companies in the industry.
With the year in full swing, my goals are long and lengthy. This year I finished 8th out of over 500 girls who entered the Status Fitness Cover Model Contest, earning a full page spread in their upcoming Fall issue. Along with working on expanding my portfolio this year, I’ve shot a bikini catalog in the Bahamas, began competing in the NPC, gained a sponsorship from the industry’s top supplement company, and had a 6-page spread published in Hidden Treasures Magazine.
So what’s next for me? Before the end of the year, I will be writing articles and blogs for a fitness magazine, continuing to compete in NPC sponsored contests, training for my second half-marathon, and will hopefully have more tear sheets to add to my growing portfolio.
