Biography :
Born in Sioux City Iowa, Sierra Merchant grew up as your average midwest girl next door. This soon to be rising star found her passion for fitness and living a healthy lifestyle after her second child, Paxton was born June 2010. " I wanted to make changes in my life that would better my overall health and my children's health and future." She set out to do just that, inspiring women and mothers all over. Signing up for her first bikini Fitness show with the WBFF was the turning point for her and since then she has never looked back. After the show she really stepped back from training to really take the time to educate herself with nutrition, diet and supplementation. "knowing what your body needs, at how much, at what times is very crucial to seeing your best results"
Knowing she needed to make a leap she would later leave her banking background and what was comfortable to her to pursue her career in the modeling world, putting her thousands of miles away from family, she relocated to sunny San Diego in September 2011.
Sierra would go on to shoot with leading professionals, bikini/clothing line collections, calendars and film with fitness product companies such as Shake Weight & Total Core 2. In Febrary 2012 she made a guest appearance on the hit daytime tv series "The Doctors" In March 2012 she was signed with one of the industrys leading nutrition company, Dymatize Nutriton
Her growth in personal and professional development is something she values and holds herself 100% accountable. Although this only seems like the beginning for Sierra, she has set many goals for herself within the fitness and modeling industry to help her become a household name. With many projects already in the works keep an eye out for the bright future of Miss Sierra !
